Governor Will Meet Today With State Lawmakers On Tax Plan

Gov. Jim Justice plans to hold a summit to talk about a plan to eliminate the state personal income tax. The governor said Friday he wants to have a meeting with Republicans and Democrats from both the House and Senate at the West Virginia Culture Center. Justice has said he won’t sign the bill that passed the House on Monday, and the current Senate bill would have to be revised to get his support.There is one week left in the legislative session.
