Police in Milton are warning residents of an advertisement scam circulating in the area. The Milton Police Department said a woman is claiming that for $400 the Piggly Wiggly in Milton will put an advertisement on its grocery bags for a year. Officers said they have confirmed with those at the grocery store that the offer is not legitimate. Those who live inside city limits are asked to call the police department if they receive a similar call. Those outside the city are asked to call the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.
