The Logan County Sheriff’s Office said a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle. 62-year old Priscella Cline-Smith of Verner was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a vehicle on Route 80 near Paradise Island. The sheriff’s office said the driver was traveling on Route 80 north and saw a tractor trailer stopped with its emergency lights on. The woman was struck near the tractor trailer. The incident remains under investigation.
