Vaccines To Be Offered At HS Basketball Tournaments

Those in attendance at the West Virginia state high school basketball tournaments will have the chance to get a COVID-19 vaccine if they want one. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority and the Charleston Fire Department will be on hand to provide the vaccines during the tournaments at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Anyone over the age of 16 has the option to get a vaccine before or during the games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 27-29 and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 4-6. COVID-19 vaccines are also available by appointment in the KCHD clinic by calling 304-348-8080.
