The victim of a shooting Wednesday on Charleston’s West Side was a Capital High School student. The shooting was reported around 8 p.m. on Central Avenue, near the cross streets of Glenwood Avenue and Park Avenue. Police said the victim was shot in the chest and later died. The investigation continues.
