A woman was arrested on a warrant in Logan County after she was accused of using drugs with a man who overdosed and failing to get medical aid that could have saved his life. Michelle Tackett was arrested after a Logan County deputy responded to an overdose at a home in Kistler. Shane Ellis is the person who died. The criminal complaint said the deputy interviewed Tackett and she said that she and Ellis had taken crystal methamphetamine and heroin together, but she said he provided the drugs. Tackett didn’t call 911 until she was instructed to do so by Ellis’ stepfather, according to the complaint. Tackett is currently being held at Southwestern Regional Jail on bond.
