WV House of Delegates passes budget bill

The West Virginia House of Delegates passed their version of the state budget with bipartisan support. The proposed budget projects nearly four-and-a-half billion-dollars in general fund spending. The House’s separate income tax reduction bill would require and 75-million-dollar cut the budget. The state Senate is considering a different budget plan that should pass next week. Governor Justice is calling for a summit on Monday to work out differences on three different tax cut proposals.
