West Virginia’s top health officer said the Boone County Health Department has made considerable progress and may resume clinical services that were suspended several months ago after deficiencies were discovered. Dr. Anye Amjad said the corrective measures allow the health department to start services again. February issues included a lack of written policies and training programs.
Amjad said the team will continue to monitor the Boone County Health Department.
