Flags at the Kanawha County Courthouse Complex are being flown at half-staff again today and a black drape is over the W. Kent Carper Justice and Public Safety Complex in honor of the county’s court administrator who passed away. Beverly Selby had served as court administrator since March 2016. Before serving as court administrator, she managed a private law practice for 22 years. She began her career in the Kanawha County Prosecutor’s Office from 1981 to 1993, where she was an assistant prosecuting attorney. The flags will be flown at half-staff and the public safety building will be draped in black through today.
