Health officials working on new ways to vaccinate West Virginians

Governor Justice says health officials are working on new ways to get the COVID-19 vaccine into the arms of younger people. A vaccination clinic is set up at the state girls’ basketball tournament, and at WVU’s spring football game.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is working on holding smaller vaccine clinics throughout the county. Large scale clinics allowed thousand of vaccinations at a time, but now the health department is breaking up into smaller groups to vaccinate people who couldn’t get to those larger clinics. The heath department is looking at holding other clinics in the next few weeks in Sissonville and Clendenin.
