The man who was shot by police last week, 33-year-old Denaul Dickerson, was arraigned in court on Friday. He’s charged with attempted malicious assault. Dickerson is accused of running from police and then pulling a knife on them. He can be heard on bodycam video telling officers to shoot him, because he didn’t want to go back to jail.
