Dozens of streets and alleys in the capital city will be getting a fresh dose of asphalt after the Charleston City Council voted to approve a contract for resurfacing city streets. A news release from Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin’s office said 58 streets and alleys will be paved using the funds. The mayor included $3 million for paving in her budget when it was submitted to City Council.
