Three Grads Are Honored Posthumously

Capital High School celebrated not only its class of 2021 during graduation ceremonies Monday night, but also recognized several seniors who have passed away. Kelvin “KJ” Taylor was shot and killed on Charleston’s West Side in April. Police have issued a warrant for a suspect in that case. A graduation robe draped over three chairs at Monday’s graduation ceremony at the Coliseum and Convention Center honoring Taylor and two other classmates – Patrick Bowen and Dakota Jordan who were awarded their diplomas posthumously.
