A Williamson man faces a string of charges after police say he fired multiple shots, including at officers, in a neighborhood Wednesday morning. Williamson police, along with Mingo County deputies and state police, arrested Andrew Hicks after neighbors in the West End area heard several gunshots. When officers arrived they said Hicks shot at them. A Facebook post from Williamson police said Hicks is charged with 4 counts of attempted murder and faces several other charges.Hicks is in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
