Phyllis Starcher of Elmcroft is a good example that it’s never too late to chase your dreams. At the age of 79, Starcher just graduated from high school in a collaboration with the nonprofit organization Second Wind Dreams. Starcher is a resident of the Elmcroft of Teays Valley assisted living facility, and told the staff she had never graduated. They connected her with the nonprofit, and Starcher was able to graduate Friday from Poca High School in Putnam County.
