A portion of the eastbound lanes in the 400 block of MacCorkle Avenue SW near Amandaville were closed Saturday because of a structure fire. Firefighters said the home that caught fire was occupied, but nobody was home when the fire started. The home is considered a total loss and the investigation continues to determine what started it.
