Kanawha County dispatchers confirmed that a fire broke out about 10:40 p.m. Sunday by Dunbar Middle School. Dunbar police said some materials that were in a Dunbar Middle School parking lot caught fire, but there was no damage to the school. Dunbar Fire Department said the materials were foam panels they believe were supposed to go inside the school. There is no word on what caused the fire, and it is under investigation.
