City officials in Hurricane have released an artist’s rendering of what the new fire station will look like. The new location will be less than a mile from the current fire station on Main Street, which has been standing since 1975. The new space is on five acres just past Hurricane Bridge Park and will have more room for training, equipment, and administrative offices. Groundbreaking is coming in September, and the new station should be finished by next July.
