State lawmakers allocated five-million-dollars during last week’s special session to create the New River Gorge Opportunity Fund, and it could already be paying dividends. The state Department of Tourism is meeting with a developer that runs a large attraction in another state, and is interested in bringing the concept to West Virginia.
