Two Arrested After a Lengthy Drug Investigation on Jackson County

A man and a woman have been arrested after what deputies in Jackson County call a lengthy investigation in a drug situation involving fentanyl and the death of at least one person. Damen Morgan and Kristina McCue are both charged with delivery of a controlled substance resulting in death by fentanyl, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies call the situation a game of “hide-and-seek” across multiple jurisdictions. They say a coordinated operation including the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals and Point Pleasant Police Department led to the arrests. Both individuals are being held at the Western Regional Jail without bail.
