The University of Charleston’s back to campus plan for the fall semester includes a vaccination requirement for students. The university says it is one of more than 500 college campuses across the country making the COVID vaccination requirement for students. The requirement is for both Charleston and Beckley campuses. If a student is not able to get vaccinated before returning, free clinics will be offered to students at the beginning of the semester. The university will consider medical exemptions to vaccination. Students, faculty and staff who are fully vaccinated will not have to wear face masks on campus or be tested for COVID.v
