COVID-19 numbers are on the uptick. The state Department of Health and Human Resources is reporting over a thousand active cases, and two more people have died. On the COVID alert map, Webster County is now in orange. Overall, fewer than half of West Virginians are fully vaccinated. Just under seventy-percent have received at least one shot.
