Former Marshall University quarterback Chad Pennington is returning to his alma mater in a new role. Pennington has been appointed to the Marshall University’s Board of Governors. Pennington played football for Marshall from 1995-99 and played 11 seasons in the NFL. Most recently, Pennington has spent time coaching high school football at the Sayre School in Lexington, Kentucky. His son recently committed to play football for the Thundering Herd.
