Manchin says Senate should pass infrastructure bill

The U.S. Senate rejected a motion to begin debate on a bipartisan infrastructure deal. A bipartisan group is working on a one-point-two-trillion-dollar framework that will go toward road and bridge projects, infrastructure resiliency, water systems, and broadband improvements. Senator Joe Manchin says lawmakers have been talking about an infrastructure bill for the last three or four administrations, and the Senate has no excuses for not passing the measure this year.
