Gov. Jim Justice appointed a new member to the Family Protection Services Board. Branches Domestic Violence Shelter Executive Director, Amanda McComas will now sit on the 7-member board which oversees domestic violence programs, and visitation and exchange programs. McComas has been working with domestic violence victims since 2010 and spearheaded an effort to open a second emergency shelter in Putnam County.
