West Virginia will go to trial next year against Teva Pharmaceuticals, Endo Health Solutions, and Johnson and Johnson next year. The state alleges that Johnson and Johnson used deceptive marketing practices which helped fuel the state’s opioid crisis. Attorney General Patrick Morrisey asked the courts to let the state sue separately from other cities, counties and hospitals. The trial is set for April 2022.
