The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department was closed for about fifteen minutes Wednesday morning after a vehicle hit a gas meter near the building. Metro 911 said the incident happened around 11 a.m. The building is located on Lee Street in Charleston. The fire department checked the building and advised that it could reopen.
