Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin wants the city to give five-hundred-dollars to every city employee who is fully vaccinated. She says the rising COVID numbers are alarming, and that more than six-hundred of the city’s nearly eight-hundred employees are considered essential workers. Goodwin expects the total cost of the proposal to be about $450,000.
