Huntington police are asking the public for any information after a woman’s body was found in a vehicle. The body of 49-year old Melinda Stephens of Huntington was discovered in a vehicle about 8:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of 10 1/2 alley. Police said Stephens’ body was taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The case is under investigation and anyone with information about the case is asked to call the detective bureau at 304-696-4420 or call the police department’s anonymous tip line at 304-696-4444.
