A new program in Logan County aims to remove unsightly structures and dilapidated homes. The new land bank program allows some property owners to tear down the structures themselves, while others are demolished by county crews. Logan county is also buying land at the State Auditor’s auction to repurpose it and sell it to potential investors. Once a property is cleared, leaders work together to figure out what is the best use for that land, and the hope is that it will boost economic development.
