A Kanawha County man who was shot by police during a crime spree last year is pleading guilty to three felony charges. Twenty-three-year-old Cole Sams was shot after breaking into a Renaissance Circle Apartment and refusing to drop his gun. He’s accused of stealing a dump truck from a state road garage, and stealing a boat near the 35th Street Bridge. Sams is facing more than twenty years in prison.
