Mason County Schools Recommend Masks But Won’t Require Them

Mason County Schools voted this week to start the school year in-person, five days a week. Bus routes will go back to single runs after splitting into two routes last year to have fewer kids on each bus. Masks will be recommended for Mason County staff and students in all grades while at school and on buses. The West Virginia Board of Education said Wednesday that it expects each school system to make a decision on COVID safety locally.
