The water quality in Milton has been an issue for years as people have dealt with discolored water on a consistent basis. On Tuesday night, WCHS TV reported residents took those concerns to the city council which is considering putting $7.9 million toward sewer improvements. Neighbors raised complaints about discolored water and questioned why spending money to improve that was not the main priority. The Grand Patrician, a new multi-million dollar resort, is also in the process of being built in Milton and many expressed concern about whether or not the infrastructure is ready to support a major project like that. The motion to move forward with the sewer funding was tabled this week. The city is now preparing to fully flush the water lines starting Monday and residents should expect their water to be discolored next week when that does happen.
