Red taking over COVID-19 alert map

Red is taking over West Virginia’s COVID-19 alert map. Thirty-five counties are now red, and eighteen are orange. Only Pocahontas County remains green. Active COVID cases are no over thirteen-thousand, and more than five-hundred people are hospitalized with virus. More than four-thousand West Virginians have been vaccinated since Wednesday, but Governor Justice says, “it’s still not good enough.”
