An event that has brought thousands of bargain hunters to Charleston for more than 50 years has been canceled for the second straight year. The Kanawha City Lions Club announced the 53rd Annual Capital City Art and Craft Show scheduled at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center has been called off this year due to uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The art and craft show had been planned for Nov. 19-21. The Lions Club has contributed $1.5 million to charities resulting from the proceeds of this annual event. Organizers said the show will return November 18-20, 2022.
