As West Virginia continues to see record hospitalizations and ICU patients from the recent surge, some local churches are changing their own guidelines.
There are no mandates or orders from the state right now, but some churches began requiring masks again and some have moved services online. Churches have seen their fair share of outbreaks over the course of the pandemic. In fact, on Friday, Governor Justice announced there are four outbreaks in churches currently statewide. These are in Wayne, Babour, Raleigh and Monroe counties.
