Project managers said blasting work will happen again today near the Interstate 64 St. Albans interchange (Exit 44). The blasting is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
Five to 10 minutes prior to the blast, traffic will temporarily be paced on both I-64 eastbound and westbound. Traffic will be temporarily held at the I-64 eastbound/westbound on-ramps at the St. Albans interchange (Exit 44) (WV 817 area) and the I-64 westbound on-ramp at the Nitro interchange (Exit 45) (WV 25 area). No blasting work is scheduled over the rest of the holiday weekend.
