Roane General Hospital employees will be required to the COVID-19 vaccination. The hospital’s Board of Directors approved the measure Monday following the Food and Drug Administration’s full approval of the Pfizer vaccine for individuals 16 years of age and older. The Roane General Hospital CEO said requiring the vaccine is the right move to protect employees and patients. Roane General Hospital already requires the flu shot as a condition of employment.
