South Charleston police said a man was hit and killed on MacCorkle Avenue early Wednesday morning. Police found the man’s body in the median and they don’t have a description of the car or the suspect that hit the man. Both southwest lanes in the 600 block near Hardees in South Charleston were shut down due to the investigation for a short time. Anyone with information on the hit and run is encouraged to call the South Charleston Police Department.
