West Virginia’s COVID-19 numbers are breaking records. There are more than 23-hundred new cases in the past 24-hours, bringing the total to almost 30-thousand active cases, an all-time pandemic high. More than nine-hundred COVID patients are in the hospital, and almost 170 are on ventilators. Governor Justice says, “At the end of the day we’re gonna do one of two things: we’re gonna run to the fire and get vaccinated right now, or we’re gonna pile the body bags up.”
