South Charleston is hosting Kanawha County’s second fall cleanup of the season tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 2), in South Charleston. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the intersection of C Street and Fourth Avenue, and they’ll accept items including solid waste, large appliances, air conditioners, tires, and televisions. Recyclables also will be accepted, including computers, all metals, car batteries and electronics. Two more cleanups are scheduled: the Elkview/Clendenin area, Oct. 16, at the old Herbert Hoover parking lot, the Cabin Creek area, Oct. 30, behind the GoMart.
