Man is Arrested for a Fayette County Home Fire

Fayette County deputies said a man has been arrested in connection with a fire that occurred several months ago at a home in Oak Hill. 21-year old Bryson Webb Burdette-Hughes of Oak Hill was arrested in connection with a blaze that broke out at a home Aug. 20 on McClain Street. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office reported flames coming from the window of a home as they were responding to a welfare check. Hughes was arrested on Friday on a first-degree arson charge.
