Marshall football player facing drug charges

A Marshall University football player is under arrest and facing a felony drug charge. Twenty-year-old Knowledge McDaniel is accused of telling a person to meet with a member of his “trafficking organization” to buy marijuana at a Buffington Avenue apartment. That person was busted leaving the apartment with marijuana. A SWAT team searched the apartment and found marijuana and over 20-thousand-dollars in cash. McDaniel is indefinitely suspended from the Marshall Football program.
