The Nitro Fire Department said a possible electrical problem was the cause of the fire that filled the second floor of the hotel at the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort on Friday. All guests and employees were evacuated and no injuries were reported. Members of Nitro, St. Albans, Tyler Mountain, Institute, Poca, Teays Valley, Dunbar and Bancroft fire departments responded.
