One of the roads to see some work under the Roads to Prosperity improvement projects will be MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City. Potholes have been a big problem there and sidewalks need to be ADA compliant. The streetscape between between 33rd and 40th street is expected to begin next spring and then the sidewalks will see improvements. The second half of the project, 40th and 58th streets, is now out for bid. Overall, WCHS TV reported the project is estimated to take two years.
