The first medical cannabis dispensary in West Virginia is open for business. Truelieve opened a state-approved dispensary in Sabraton Friday, and plans to open a second location in Weston on Monday. Patients with medical marijuana cars lined up outside the shop for several hours. Medical marijuana was legalized in West Virginia in 2017. Trulieve operates in 8 states and employs about 8,000 people nationwide, and has plans to expand in West Virginia over the next year, and will open a third location in Charleston.
