Four People Are Cited for Illegally Killing Deer

West Virginia Natural Resources Police said four people were cited for various charges after a buck was killed using a spotlight. The incident occurred in mid-October near the Brooke-Ohio county line, according to a Facebook post Thursday from Natural Resources Police. A .22-caliber rifle was used in the incident. Natural Resources police gathered evidence that led them to a garage in Beech Bottom and they seized three deer. Four people were cited for spotlighting and various other charges and officers said one of the people who was cited had a hunting license revoked for previous game violations.
