The work of artisans from around the world is on display and for sale this holiday season in the Kanawha Valley. First Presbyterian Church at 16 Leon Sullivan Way in Charleston is hosting its Hope Village Thursday through Sunday. Works from 18 total vendors are being sold by the church, with items from Africa, Guatemala, Honduras and several other places. The program trains people to earn a living wage and to educate children. Some of the items are baskets, metal art, leather goods and clothing. Money made goes to the artisans.
