A Gun is Confiscated at a Tri-State Airport Checkpoint

A Barboursville man was stopped at Huntington Tri-State Airport when a loaded handgun with two gun magazines and a total of 35 bullets was found among his carry-on items. The Transportation Security Administration said in a news release Tuesday that the gun was spotted Monday in a checkpoint X-ray machine. Local police were alerted, and officers confiscated the weapon. The man told officials that he forgot that he had his loaded gun with him.
