Project officials have announced the blasting schedule for road work on Interstate 64 near the St. Albans exit, as well as planned lane closures for the week. Right lanes both eastbound and westbound between mile markers 41 and 44 closed last night, according to Nitro city officials. The left lanes in both directions will close Tuesday at 8 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Blasting near the St. Albans interchange at Exit 44 is also scheduled for today at 12:30 p.m. and again Thursday and Friday at 12:30 p.m. There is no blasting scheduled for Wednesday.
